DETECTION TECHNOLOGY DOES NOT STAND STILL
R&D PROJECTS
Through European Defence Fund consortia and national research
programmes, SEC Technologies works with the continent’s leading
research institutes, primes and operators to build what comes next.

CHEMICAL AERIAL
RECONNAISSANCE
2024 — 2027
PHASE 2 IN PROGRESS
An overarching information system that pulls existing
national CBRN defence assets into a single modular,
flexible architecture — built so European Member States
can share data, coordinate response, and operate across
borders.
DETECTION IN MOTION
SEC Technologies brought its expertise in chemical
detection into the air. We developed and integrated
advanced sensing technologies for real-time
identification and quantification of hazardous gases —
with a particular focus on detection while the UAV is
moving, and validation of detection performance at
short stand-off distances of up to app. 200 metres.

BRINGING CHEMICAL
SENSING INTO THE
FEDERATED STACK
SEC Technologies contributes its expertise in chemical
detection and supports the integration of advanced
sensing capabilities into the overall system architecture
— ensuring detection technologies can be effectively
used inside interoperable CBRN information systems
and operational scenarios.
